Freshmen Florida Representatives Nugent and Ross Endorse Sandy Adams
Two More Florida Freshmen Join Colonel Allen West in Endorsing Sandy

Orlando, FL –
Freshman Sandy Adams received the endorsement of two Florida colleagues today, Representatives Rich Nugent and Dennis Ross.  Nugent and Ross join Colonel Allen West in standing with Sandy over 20-year Washington insider John Mica.  Together, these strong Florida freshmen have worked to rein in government spending, stand up for conservative principles and repeal ObamaCare.

Representative Rich Nugent had the following to say, “Sandy and I agree that the American people aren’t particularly well-served by individuals who stay in Congress for decades on end. Sandy was one of the first people to walk the walk and co-sponsor my bill; the Congress Isn’t a Career Act.  She sticks by her principles.  She’s not going to say one thing and do another.  I respect that and I think, at this point, that is exactly the kind of leadership that the country needs.”

Stating the need for change in Washington, D.C. as a reason for his endorsement, Representative Ross said, “I've known Sandy Adams for over a decade.  Personally, professionally and politically, there is no one who will fight harder for what is right, than she will.  Sandy is a reformer, unafraid to ruffle feathers or take on tough issues.  In Congress, Sandy's conservative record speaks for itself.  In a time of record deficits and unemployment, Washington needs people who will do what is right, not what is easy.  That person is Sandy Adams.  I am proud to call her a friend, honored to call her a colleague, and wholeheartedly endorse her in her re-election.”

Sandy Adams was honored to receive their support, “Not only do I consider Florida freshmen Rich Nugent and Dennis Ross respected colleagues, but I consider them close friends.  Over the past year and half, we have worked together to fix what is broken in Washington, D.C.  Along with our freshmen colleagues, we have joined together with a united voice to stop the overspending in Congress, get our nation’s debt and deficit under control and to repeal ObamaCare. With a nearly $16 trillion debt, Central Floridians need strong conservatives in Congress, not entrenched politicians like my opponent.  I am proud to receive their endorsements, and I look forward to continuing our hard work to put our nation back on a path to prosperity.”
